These burners are handmade, and variations in height, weight and colour texture are normal. Uneven surface or minor ripples can also occur in individually made products, but this only serves to enhance their natural beauty.
The ceramic used is thicker than some other materials used to make wax burners. We advise using a good quality tea light that is 2cm high. We do not recommend using the burner for any longer than 4 hours at a time.
